We’re less than a month away from the first pull of the Opening Game at EBUCC 2025 in Gdańsk! The thrill of Beach Ultimate is in the air. The organizing committee has worked hard to bring you one of the best EBUCC editions, promising sun-soaked action and fierce competition.

Before diving into tournament details, we wanted to share the most essential information – the official team lineup for EBUCC 2025 across all three divisions. Let’s start with some facts and numbers. Gdańsk Stogi’s beach offers a 4km long coastline, up to 100 m wide, and there will be 10 ultimate frisbee fields waiting for you!

This year, EBUCC hosts 52 teams from 19 countries. By division, we’ll follow 13 mighty Women’s teams, 18 Open teams, and 21 Mixed teams. All of those teams bring talent from all over Europe!

Women’s Division

The Women’s division at EBUCC promises fierce competition among 13 talented teams. Germany brings a strong presence with four contenders, potentially leading to intense internal matchups. Look out for Poland’s Troubles, who will be a formidable threat after their impressive showing at the World Championships, and Polonki, who demonstrated great potential at Paganello and Copa Tanga. EBUCC 2023 and WBUCC 2025 medalists E6 (silver) are formidable contenders to watch out for. Copenhagen (EBUCC 2023 bronze) may also prove exciting to follow! Finally, the speed of the Spanish teams makes them a dangerous opponent, so don’t underestimate them.

Open Division

With 18 teams ready to battle on the sand, the Open division promises high-level competition, featuring teams from the Czech Republic to Ukraine. As seen in the Women’s division, several German teams will likely fuel internal rivalries. Given their impressive victory at Copa Tanga 2025 and 4th place at EBUCC 2023, Solaris (Poland) is a strong team to watch, known for their exciting plays and excellent spirit. Don’t underestimate Sharks (Spain), who secured a solid 5th place at EBUCC 2023.

Mixed Division

The largest 21-team Mixed division promises explosive action and unexpected pairings! All eyes will be on perennial contender UFA (Portugal), fresh off EBUCC ’23 success, WBUCC ‘25 9th place, and Copa Tanga silver. But watch out for the fiery F.U.J. (Czech Republic), with a strong Paganello ‘25 showing, 7th place at EBUCC ’23, and 8th WBUCC ‘24. Ukraine 1 remains a wildcard with serious medal potential. Looking at the lineup, we have more than one wildcard to make things interesting this year. Get ready for a Mixed division showdown!
